Maybe you've heard or read the saying friends for a reason, a season or a lifetime. I just visited a lifetime friend. Actually she's been in my life for somewhere around 18 years, and though we are very different people, we have been through many of life's milestones at the same or similar times. She has shown me unconditional love for as long as I've known her, and it is a great feeling to know you always have someone you can call no matter the hour, the problem, or to share the joy and excitement of the wonderful things. The latest milestone is the arrival of of Raquel.
I had the opportunity to visit my friend Dina and her husband and almost 3 month old daughter Raquel. What a great trip. Not only did we get to visit (which goes by way to fast) but I got to cuddle with this little cutie.
Here we got a couple of shots of Raquel in her beautiful Christening outfit.
She was a bit relieved and had more smiles for us when we removed the hat.

One of my favorites. Unplanned, but speaks volumes. What you don't realize is that once I saw the picture and asked Daddy to keep is head close to the baby, she decided to be a little gassy.
The next one melted me. We took a series of them and it is very hard to choose.
The love is palpable.
Dina will kill me for putting all these pictures up of her. She doesn't thing she photographs well. But I love this shot.
